Our company has been selling furniture online since 1999 and has become one of the largest in the industry. With multiple distribution centers across the US and a high volume of shipments, we can pass on our savings to our customers.
3. What countries do you ship to?
Currently, we offer free shipping throughout the continental United States. Additional charges apply for shipping to Hawaii, Alaska, and Puerto Rico. International customers can arrange for a freight forwarder based in the US, and we will ship the order to them free of charge.
4. What are the delivery charges?
Shipping is always free to the 48 continental United States. There are no hidden fees or costs. However, there may be additional charges for deliveries to islands accessible only by boat or rural areas inaccessible by our delivery trucks. Shipping to Hawaii, Alaska, and Puerto Rico also incurs an additional charge.
5. What is the shipping method for my order?
Most of the furniture on our website is eligible for Free Delivery & Assembly. Our trained furniture-delivery specialists will deliver, unpack, and assemble your furniture at no extra cost. Smaller items such as nightstands or lamps will be shipped via UPS or FedEx and delivered to your front door or the entrance of your building.
6. How soon will my order be billed?
A temporary authorization hold will be placed on your debit or credit card during online checkout to ensure the availability of funds. Depending on your bank's temporary authorization policies, the hold may disappear after several days.
7. Are you required to charge sales tax?
Sales tax will be charged for orders shipped to specific states, including Alabama, Arizona, California, Connecticut, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Mississippi, Minnesota, New Jersey, Nevada, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, New York, Tennessee, Utah, Washington State, and Wisconsin. Please check your state's regulations regarding reporting and paying sales tax.
8. Is it possible to ship to an APO/FPO address?
Unfortunately, at this time, we are unable to ship to APO and FPO addresses.
9. Is there a delivery confirmation?
Our automated email system will send tracking numbers, allowing you to track your furniture delivery to your door. For larger items shipped by truck, you will be contacted to arrange shipping details.
10. If my order arrives damaged, what should I do?
Should an item arrive damaged, our furniture specialists are fully trained to assist you. While we inspect and package items with great care to minimize damage, occasional incidents may occur during transit. If an item is damaged during shipping, please note the damage on the delivery receipt and contact us immediately. We will arrange for a full replacement or replacement parts as soon as possible. Please save the original packaging in case it is needed for the return process. We may request pictures to assess the damage or defects.
11. How does your return policy work?
Our top priority is customer satisfaction. For a return, exchange, or refund, please contact us via email or phone to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA). Returns must be initiated within 5 days of delivery and are subject to a 15% restocking fee. The original packaging must be retained, and items must be in their original boxes, unassembled, unless authorized otherwise by Bircata Furniture. Custom fabric or color orders, mattresses, foundations, bedding, linens, and cordless power packs cannot be returned.
12. Can you tell me what your cancellation policy is?
Orders can be canceled within 24 hours of placing the order without incurring restocking fees or delivery costs. After this timeframe, cancellations will be treated as returns. Customers should contact us via email for cancellation requests. Once an order has been assigned a trip or is in transit, cancellations will incur round-trip shipping fees and a 15% restocking fee. Free shipping is only available if the customer keeps the order. Original and return shipping costs will not be refunded.
