- The trumpet-bell-like flare at the top that narrows down and then gradually widens to a pod-like bulb with organic-looking vertical striations, really looks like some tropical flora imported from the rainforest. You’re essentially getting exactly what you see in the picture. It does what it’s supposed to do, and it really does feel cooler under the umbrella when its blazing hot out. The one dislike I had was the smell when I first opened the plastic wrapping on the unbrella, but there was a warning written about leaving it outside to ventilate for a day or two to get rid of the smell, so its all good because the smell is now gone. Thanks.
